I think you may just have to accept that this is a no-goer. How is it fair on your friend, to pursue a guy who likes her, with the intention of trying to make him like you instead?
Surely the fact that he likes your friend instead of you should be enough of a signal to put you off.

Well if you're not going to make a move and he doesn't fancy you, then chances are nothing will happen between you. If your friend and him like each other, then consider how you'd feel if they got together. You might be hurt to begin with if she knows that you also like him. But if you look at the chances of you being with him anyway, is there really any point in standing in their way?

Well, if you really like him, i think you should tell him or else your friend will feel that you are not interested in love with him but to be just friend.or talk about him when your friend is around, you will find out if she is really into him.hope this help.
