 With the limited amount of information provided here i feel if he has said this then the only option is to talk to him. Cook a nice meal, or go out to dinner and have a good chat, and get everything out in the open. This way you will both know where you stand, and if needs be alter some things about your relationship, take a break, or move on altogether, but communication is the key here.
