Question - (9 December 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 9 December 2010)
A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

My husband and I have been having problems in our marriage for almost 5 years. He goes to the bar he says to play keno, for the last 5 years now. I finally met with him at 'the bar' he frequents for his company Christmas Party. Almost as soon as I walked in he introduced me to 'the bar maid'. She didnt smile but said hi. I didnt like her right off the bat. I asked her to get me a mudslide and she sternly stated 'we dont have that here'. What kid of bar dont have a mudslide? I wathed her intermittently through the night as she made me uneasy. Through the night I would spot my husband having his arm around her. Then later that evening, in back of me (I turned around to see where he was) and him and her were engaged in full body hug with both arms wrapped around each other. I havent had that from him in years - nor did I even get a small one that evening. He says Im over jealous. Im very hurt and outraged! Is he just a jerk I need to divorce?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (9 December 2010):

Yes - I most certainly did. He said I was reading way too much into a friendly Christmas hug and he should have thought about what he was doing since he hasnt paid me any attention for a long time. It still makes no sence to me. And it still dont make me feel any better about the whole situation. Had we been having a good relationship is one thing - but we havent been - and when his affections are passed over me and onto another woman - that hurts really bad.

Did you ask if they had a relationship, or why aren't you getting hugs like that?
