reader, anonymous, writes (9 December 2010): Why not ask him to go for a coffee at breaktime. You could be casual about this and maybe get a better idea by his response as to whether he is interested.
Do you know whether he is attached or not? It could be that he thinks you are attractive but can't go ahead because he is attached. In which case please steer clear and don't get your heart broken.
