I've been married for 26 years and for about 6 or 7 years my husband has got more and more withdrawn - we exchange information but don't really talk, we haven't had sex in that time and he goes to the pub every night (he says its only for the last half an hour so that's ok!).

Now the kids have grown up and moved out - is it worth me staying? How can I get him to change?

Honeygirl agony auntSweetie, I understand your concerns, I have also been married for 26 years and must admit that you have to keep working at a relationship to make it work. A suggestion would be to go for marriage counselling so that you can try and understand what has happened in your marriage to make you drift apart.. Even if he doesnt want to go to counselling, you should go... it will help you to decide what you should do....

Please email me if you would like to chat more.
