I just found out that he openly offered for any of his co-workers, males and females to go with him to the house in October. I cannot go there in October due to my work but this is his time off work. Am I crazy for thinking that this is unacceptable???

Hosting a work party without you does not seem like a big deal...

Maybe he just didnt think! Maybe he assumed you would be able to go and forgot in all the excitement! It would be a bit of an underhand thing to do if he knew for defo you couldnt go... but well men do sometimes forget things and he genuinely may have forgotten that you cant go along to ? If its not the case think you may have to tell him that your not happy about it and feel that its something that should be arranged when you are able to go as well, seeing as its a joint venture, see if you cant meet half way on it, maybe you join him for a long weekend over that period so that you dont both lose out!
Good luck
