reader, anonymous, writes (12 April 2006): Really need more information here - If this is a new issue, then he needs to consult a docter, but it could indeed be stress related or as a psychological effect of his desire to 'perform'. If this has become more and more of an issue it is likely he has convinced himself he wont cum even before you get into the throngs of sex.
To combat this, you really need to vary your sex, so that he begins to expect the unexpected, and by its very nature, the variation will relax his anxiety. If you assure him - you dont care whether he comes or not, and try to mean it, this will eventually lead to his anxiety alleviating, and hopefully 'normal service resuming'!!

This is normal, regardless of how old you're husband is. Has he been under stress lately? Or is he on any kind of drugs? This could be a side-effect. Perhaps he feels under pressure to perform.
