reader, anonymous, writes (14 April 2009): girls think lots of different things about boys (i know from expirience) boys come and go dont expect them to be together forever thats 1st. 2nd if you want you to know you like her look at her across the room and do a little wink NEVER act like a big crazy clown or the big joker because us girls can get very annoyed laugh at her jokes dont do the why did the chicken cross the road jokes just give her compliments and if that works ur good 2 go

reader, anonymous, writes (6 April 2009): I know it's hard especially if you feel strongly towards her, but you must try and control your feelings. If you made a move or simply let your feelings known, you'll probably end up losing both your friend AND her.
You say he doesn't have long relationships, but try not to hope for it to end in case he notices your attitude, and again you'll probably lose the friendship with both.
If you can't get over her and accept that she's with him, then at least control yourself and wait until they eventually split (but this might not happen. don't get your hopes up, and don't pounce immediately) but even then you must be prepared that it will still be awkward: it's not fair on your mate to go out with his fresh x, and its not fair on her either.
But for the moment especially, DON'T DO ANYTHING.
Best mate's girlfriends are out of bounds. Just try and control your feelings.
