writes: so i have this guy friend..... the thing is we just graduated and we are going to different high skools....i feel horrible knowing we wont be going to the same high skool....our moms were friends we were friends...we really didnt talk..he went out with my best friend..and they broke up...two days left to graduate we started talking and hanging out..then well on graduation day we said goodbye..i didnt cry i cried the day before..his mom made us take a picture...grr (i hate taking pictures)..anyway we know each other since we were little..we went to the same elementary and middle skool..even though we didnt talk much we were still friends....now i cry every time i think of high skool without him...is this normal?

Yep, this is very normal. But it will pass. When we have friends for such a long time and we literally grow up with them share so many things with them, parting is very painful. And we miss them and it is just awful to go through those motions. But I can assure you that time will make the "missing" be less. And you are lucky you live in a time where there is the internet and facebook and all these modes of communication that are instant. Thank God that you don't have to rely on a pigeon to send him letters. = P
