my parents left me with my grandmother when i was only nine months old. living with her is great at times but she's a little over protective. i'm 17 now and i've never been on a date.i have never been out with friends or to school events. i'm a senior now and i'm worried that i won't be able to go prom or any other senior events. i don't think she trust me at all. how do i get her to trust that she raised me the right way and that i won't get out there and disappoint her?

My best answer is to let your grandmother that she needs to worrying and focus on herself once an a while because your old enough to understand the right thing to do if someone hurts you or bothers you.
