writes:I'm sure one of my friend's dad fancies another one of my friends. She is 16 and he is 59. Do you think it is normal that a man of his age would say to his daughter he will unground her if her 16 year old girl gives him a hug? Also when is planning to drive us all home he always tries to plan it so she is the last one to drop off. Even though that is the most difficult way to do it. I am worried about her being around him. Do you think I should be? I don't want to get anyone "officially" involved because his daughter is my girlfriend even though he doesn't know it. Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (27 January 2009): Warn the girl that you think something is up with him... Not normal - at all! I know its legal if she was doing it with consent but most of the time people like that do get what they want the wrong way... I know saying that is harsh but its the reality of things. I wouldn't tell your parents because they would talk to the guy and obviously he's going to be defensive about the situation and it could turn on you.

 That is definitely not normal. Actually, it's entirely inappropriate. My advice would be to talk to one of YOUR parents about this first. If you're concerned for your friend's safety, you could always try to stay close to her just to ensure that she's alright.Hope everything works out ok.masq
