This is what I mean. I did not know or have not heard about that before. Being her boyfriend, I just wanted to know if that could happen okay? She is my first girlfriend.

If she thinks her periods have changed and its worrying her I would take her to see her doctor just incase.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 July 2007): My cycle has become shorter after having my children. I even have a break in between. Heavy flow the first day and then very light afterwards. Doc says it's my norm.
Stress and diet may contribute to a lesser blood flow as well as age. If she is that concerned, she should head to a doctor. It doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about unless she has other symptoms but again, such issues or concerns are best addressed with the family doctor.
