First off my girlfriend and her friend hardely ever see each other now since they left school and they saw each other for the first time since last october. They generally talk too each other like young little girls and say things such as 'Im gunna do you when I see you' and 'Im gunna bring my whip with be RAWR'. She claims this is how they speak and how they have always spoken too each other. However I have not known girls talk too each other like that. The next thing is I found out she was staying at her friends the night. She told me later that they both shared the same single bed!!!! How weird is that, well at least I think so...Is this normal behaviour? Reply to this Question Share |

I share a bed with my friends all the time - it does not mean anything like we are attracted to each other, its just two friends sleeping next to each other. plus it means we dont have to argue over who sleeps on the floor!! so please dont worry!!

Yes this is normal behaviour. This is generally how girls are with eachother especially when they are such close friends. Its the same way how girls hold hands with eachother when they walk. It doesn't mean that they are lesbians! lol Girls also sometimes kiss eachother on the cheek (some on the lips, just a friendly peck).
And girls sometimes sleep in the same bed, its what we do. Slumber parties and girly nights in do involve sleeping in the same bed sometimes. I used to go to an all girls boarding school and we did that all the time. We even took showers together! :) Sounds shocking but NONE of us were lesbians (as far as I know anyway) lol
Don't worry about it. When she jokes with her friend about the whips and whatnot, thats all it is. A joke.

Hi Anonymous,
Lol, I don't think you have anything to worry about. ^_^ Sometimes this is just how girls are with one another. Unless you have reason to believe that she would actually get sexual with her friend and cheat on you, then I would honestly forget about it. I've talked like that with some of my friends and it's just being funny and cutesy - it totally doesn't meant that I'd cheat on my husband with that person!
As for sharing a bed - I really don't see anything wrong with that at all. When I slept over my friends' homes I would sleep in the same bed with them. It was more fun that way because you can talk about stuff until late in the night without being all uncomfortable on the floor or talking loud from across the room.
I think that there is something else going on here - something deeper than you just feeling uneasy about her talking like this and sleeping in the same bed as her friend. I think it's those issues that need to be addressed, honestly. If you have trust issues, you need to tell your girlfriend so they can be worked out.
Take care.
