We admitted to it all months later where we mutually confessed to all our emotions. He was everything to me, my best friend of sixteen years, my first love and my first kiss. However, we stopped whatever was going on becuase he likes someone else. I have to see this new girl every day and it isn't easy when everyone's talking about them. It's also hard for me to be around him all the time 'cause I miss our past. At the same time, I find it hard to live without him.We fight more often nowadays. And now we go to bed insulting each other (we're "joking"). It's such a contrast from "Goodnight. I love you." of a few months ago. I'm tired and I really miss him (at the same time, I don't) My friends say he's a jerk and I could do without him. I need help. Suggestions?

He has a girlfriend? I'd back away and get busy with friends and family. The relationship has now sunk to adolescent behavior. Let it go!
