This then changed a few months later when she suggested we study together just the 2 of us I obliged and she said she found it fun. During 1 of these sessions she then made a random comment about mixed couples which had nothing to do with our work. Since then I've noticed she now wears bright lipstick whenever we are scheduled to meet. She also apologises and explains when she doesn't respond to my text messages.

I'm with Tisha because I'm not sure what the question is. You're wondering whether a girl you know fancies you. Are you hoping that she does because you fancy her too or hoping that she doesn't because she's not your type?
Most people write into this site because it's the former so I'll assume that it is too (pardon me if I'm wrong.)
Unfortunately these "Does he/she fancy me?" questions are impossible for a stranger to answer when all we have to go on is one persons side of the story.

Not sure what the question is here -- did you ask her out yet ?
