We are getting married in 6 months time and i should be as happy as could be - but i am not. I feel so depressed. My friend thinks i should cancel the wedding, go to the doctors and get myself put right first. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel. Please aunts help me, i feel like i am drowning.

I agree with your friend. You seem to be looking on the wedding as something that will magically fix all your problems but it won't. Planning a wedding is stressful. See your doctor and get an independent opinion and then maybe chat to your fiance about postponing. He won't mind if he loves you, he'll only be interested in making you better.

The first thing that I would do would be go to the doctor and see what is wrong with me before I cancled the wedding. But if the doctor said it would be better to cancel the wedding, then I would cancel the wedding and set it for a later date.

I don't think the wedding will fix things and you really should seek medical advice if you think you are depressed. It sounds like you have a good friend there so why not lean on that person for a while.
