writes: hi i really need some help. i really really REALLY fancy this guy that works at my school. He's a helper for kids that find it hard to learn. He isn't that old. He is in his early twenties. Everytime i see him i feel like i am going really red and i get butterflies everytime i see him. I always make excuses just to see if i can find him around the school. I have told three of my best friends. But i think that one of them doesn't really care how i feel about him. It's really annoying because she is always talking about the guy she likes and i care how she feels. As soon as i start to talk about him, she changes the subject to something totally different. I just need some help please. thanks xxx

Maybe she doesn't want to encourage you to do anything about the crush. We all had crushes on people we couldn't have when we were younger - it's all part of growing up but maybe she feels a bit uncomfortable talking about it. Like she doesn't want to see you make a fool out of yourself.Or maybe she has a crush on him too and doesn't want it to turn into a competition?

And in her unsupportiveness, she changes the subject instead of saying somethign to let you on that she believes it's wrong. She doesn't want to hurt your feeling. Or what army medic says.

She's not interested because you keep going on about a guy that you can't and never will have, she's bored of your silly crush!
