writes:I have this friend who confuses me all the time, I really don't know how she feels, but as she is a friend don't wanna risk that either.We get on well and talk a lot bout personal issues she mainly talks I listen!!! The thing is I feel I am getting close to her and then sometimes feel like distant from her (when I havn't txt or rung her for a couple of days and she hasn't bothered to contact) or if she replies to txt its just a short one line replies. Yet sometimes I feel her warmth, for example we went out the other day and when I dropped her of (in car) she turned right round and give me a big hug, we the were talking closley (bout a foot away) she then give anotha hug, I then kissed her on lips and she went. (She doesn't always do this usually it is lean over kiss on cheek then bye)I thinking bout it a lot ova last couple of days and should av said that was nice hug what was that for or somert like that!!! Now bothered that maybe missed my chance, hope that situation arises again!! Reply to this Question

Of course she likes you!
Get the courage and talk to her. No, you have not missed your chance.
Unless you tell her how you feel, how else will you know where you stand.
Do not wait for situation to arise again. She may be thinking that you do not like her that way and not give you the opportunity. Do not wait to long.
You need to make it happen, before somebody else does. Then you will kick yourself.

I know a lot of girls though who feel shy letting on when they have affections for a guy and instead wait for the guy to make the first move. Why not try giving her subtle hints to indicate how you feel and see how she reciprocates? Hope all works out!

 I'm 13 years old, and my best friend is a guy, Fred (yes that is his real name), who is the same age as me.
a couple of months ago, when he was at my house, he pulled me (kissed with tongues), and did it again the next week.
he also told me he loved me.
the problem is that he hasn't asked me out or mentioned it,
but keeps asking to come round my house/go somewhere.
the biggest problem is,
i love him.
i've never felt like this about anyone, not even my boyfriends.
when i'm with him,
i feel special, and i want to just hold him and never let go.
i get butterflies in my stomach when i talk to him.
i stutter when i talk to him on the phone,
and i think about him all the time.
i've felt this way for about 1-and-a-bit years,
and it never changes, even when i was going out with other guys.
Fred (the guy i like) is one of the really popular guys.
he has a black fringe that goes over one eye, and wears drainpipes so ALL the girls i know that have met him, fancy him.
he's got so many girls after him and i don't see why he would like to be with me.
when we've been out,
he sometimes holds me,
and says he loves me,
and hugs me for ages.
i have been dreaming about him and i really want to ask him out/have him ask me out.
but i'm really scared incase he rejects me.
i don't know what to do anymore.
it's driving me mad.
please help me and/or tell me what to do.
i feel helpless, and i almost committed suicide because i didn't think he liked me.
no-one understands because they don't really understand what love is,
but i've looked up love and the symptoms,
and they all apply to me.
i KNOW i love him,
i just don't know if he loves me.
