reader, anonymous, writes (3 May 2008): I believe you mean "snuff" as in chewing tobacco? Chew, not huffing, or anything you inhale, as the question title thinks you mean, right? Then, yes, snuff is just as bad, but in different ways. I know a heavy smoker who gave up chew because it was so bad for your mouth. It can do really grisly things to your gums and the cancer you can get means removing parts of your jaw and tongue. I don't claim to be a health expert, but chew is pretty unhealthy. Don't do it, and try to get her to stop if you can.
