A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

hi everyone, just need a few opinions from you all. If you were all out in a group of friends and the guy you like willingly holds your hand in front of all your friends, is this a sign he likes you aswell. He also kept giving me hugs and kissing me on the forehead and on the cheek.

We went out a couple of years back but split up but remained good friends, so do you think he is just being friendly or do you think he still likes me? he's quite a shy person so i don't think he would come straight out and say it.What do you all think am i reading too much in to it or does it seem like he has feelings for me still??

Yeah but he really isn't that kind of person, he is v shy but isn't someone to mess around with peoples feelings. Also i forgot to say that he does get kinda jealous at times and his friend admitted to me that apparently he can't bear to think of anyone else being with me.

Could be, but I've heard of guys who string an ex along, because he hurt her feelings and he wants to make it up to her. It only prolongs the pain. She thinks they might get back together, while he confides with someone, that they are just friends, and there is no possible way they could get back together. She would be happier opening up to someone else, but she won't. Sad.
