 Well everybody has different views on what is acceptable and what is not in a relationship, and maybe to you this is just not acceptable. It doesn't mean you are wrong or right it just means this is your personal opinion and you are entitled to it. If it makes you uncomfortable well then talk to him and tell him how you feel. Maybe he could look for other work in the mean time and not look at it as a future job but more like a temporary one until he can find something else. Tell him how you are feeling and come to some sort of agreement between the both of you.
