A male New Zealand age 41-50, *onfusedsoul writes:

Relating with my fiance makes me feel doubtful about myself, low on self-esteem and somewhat powerless and weak. She is quite high on the morals, low on the practical aspects and it's the otherway round for me. Should i talk about this to her ?

Frank B Kermit agony auntLet me get this strait...you are wondering if you should talk about something as important as the nature of your relationship with her...and THIS is the girl you plan to marry?

If you can not talk to her about THESE things...surely you should not marry her. I do not see any other recourse.

Dude, seriously...you have got to be able to do better than this.

YummyMummy agony auntWhat first attracted you to her? I do believe in opposites can attract. My partner and I have the fact we love computer games, are a little shy and love rock/metal music in common and that's it.

Talk to her about how you feel. Me and my partner had a talk about something similar last weekend as he felt that I turn my nose up at everything he likes. I hadn't realised I was doing it at all and then felt quite bad for making him feel bad for something that makes him who he is.
