Simple - Tell the doctor you want it for birth control instead, and then just mention you have pcos too so they are inclined towards a pill that may be best for both reasons.
Any Doc who wont prescribe contraception should not be a doctor imo.

I don't see why your doctor won't prescribe you. I told my doctor I have unbearable heavy periods and I know BC can benefit regulating periods and significantly improves acne. The most common treatment for pcos is birth control. Print out some articles stating that and show it to your doctor. If he/she still disagrees, find a new doctor Hun. Doctors these days can be a bit inconsiserate and quick to conclude. Not all of them are like that so switching docs can be good for you in the long run!
