Hi chick, sorry to hear about your Dad. I've only heard of ear cancer once before and that person went on to make a full recovery. What is possible about it is that it's a very slow growing type of cancer so its less likely to have spread than other types. Treatment depends on the type of tumour and they'll need to confirm what type it is and if it has spread before they can decide if or how to treat it. It's natural to hear the word cancer and panic but the great majority of people who get cancer survive so be positive! I know you're young and in some ways still feel like you have to look to adults to show you how to react in these situations but honestly, it no easier for adults than people your age. I'd say the best thing for now is to be positive and as helpful as you can in your family. Telling yourself everything will be fine and keeping yourself busy will go a long way to convincing you that everything will in fact be fine.
