writes:Let me frist start off by telling the story.I had a friend in school give me a addy to a girl that lives 200 miles away on the other side of the country.I got talking to the girl over msn and over time the friendship went to like teenagers saying we are in love and so forth.she however started to date online to the friend of mine, yet she continued to act in love with me it went on till me and her did sexual stuff over webcam yer being around about 1 year younger than me.we also gave each other our mobile numbers and text and she phones me now and then.How ever she is acting horribal to me recently and using terms like your belong to me and she doesnt give me any freedom.I dont want to spend all my time on msn talking to her and shes ruining my life I just want to stop talking to her full stop however I am afraid of what will happen if I do block her and dont answer her callsWhat should I do and how should I do it and also ...what could happen I.E have I broken the law? I feel silly asking this but I need help and cant ask my dad because of the hole webcam thing.thank you for any help

What is she gonna do? Reach through the phoneline and strangle you?

reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2008): I agree with "lotus mama808"; you will have to break contact with this girl, the sooner the better; and yes, a person can do webcam recordings;
I suggest you will have to be a little more diplomatic with this girl; she might get upto all sorts of tricks and become very nasty if you just suddenly dump her;
I suggest you tell her your parents are monitoring your calls; and that you have to spend more time on your studies; that your parents do not allow you to use webcam anymore; try that first; she will hopefully loose interest;
Your best option would be to be honest with your dad; yes, I know it will be difficult because of the webcam situation; but what if this gril decides to lay charges against you;or she uses some photos or recordings and put it on the internet; how will you feel being exposed like that; then your father will find out; at least now he will be able to help you and to assist you to stop this girl fro harrassing you and to try and prevent her from doing something stupid.

 Hm, yeah, I don't ever recommend cyber relationships. It just isnt reality, andthere is nothing personal about it. She could be wayyy younger than you, and you don't really know it because you don't see her in person, you don't know her roots, her background, her parents, etc. She sounds, well, how do I put this delicately?...Not right. Unpredictable. I dont know if you can record and replay web cam happenings, but at this piont, the best thing to do is send her a message telling her you want her to leave you alone, and leave it at that. Keep that message saved in yur computer just in case. Whatever you do, though, you have to cut contact, this chik seems wacky! And no more naughty web cam stuff unless it's with someone you know, personally, and feel safe and comfertable sharing those moments with;)
