writes:hi all..i am an egyptain 21.5 year old girl..i lost my hymen by my ex boy friend, we were musterbating in bed but suddenly he rapped me and made me lose my hymen :( but my vagina is still tight i guess.. coz we didnt have sex...my problem is that i live in a culture that never accepts non virgins, and i am now engaged to a closed minded guy that will never accept such a thing if he knew about it..im really worried coz my wedding is in 5 months :( and im living in pain days and nights from worryi heard about the surgery that repairs hymens, but since no one knows about my problem,i cant tell any one about and i dont know anyone who do such a surgery...i simply,dont know what to do :((please any help,any suggestions??

reader, anonymous, writes (31 December 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questiondear :) first of all, our culture is very different than yours..in the US non virgins r accepted..but in egypt NOOOOOOOO WAY. i just can tell him,and i cant talk with anyone about itsecond, i couldnt report it to the police because i went to bed with him, so it is still my blame..its a shame to say such a thing in our culture...but the point is that we were only musterbating,and suddenly i found him very tough with me and he pushed his penis into my vagina and made me lose my hymen...but belive it or not ,,we didnt have sex, he just pushed his penis into my vagina rougly and in 5 seconds i found my self not a virgin...and then i hitted him and moved away quickly...but after i have lost my virginity in 5 seconds :(im really living in pain and cant bare this anymore,if my fiance or my parents or anyone knew about this issue it would be a disastrous 4 me,and they would kill me

but how can i convince him when we get married that i am a virgin while he can see that there is no hymen?? and he is not the kind of guy that will be convinced by telling him "i dont know...etc" , he wont accept such a thing, he is so closed minded, he views everything in our life as unacceptable, so what if he found me not a virgin, he will definitely divorce me :S !!!

There are posters on here all the time that cant tell. I personaly thought that mine was broken long before the first time of actual penetration. reader, anonymous, writes (30 December 2009): I'm not sure how helpful this is - but there are other ways that the hymen can tear other than through sex. For example, rigorous exercise, or using tampons can tear the hymen as well. And not everyone bleeds the first time that they have sex - if this is the main thing that you are worried about. I know that this must be worrying you a lot - is there an older relative you can talk to about your concerns - you wouldn't have to mention what happened between you and your ex but could say that you think it tore during exercise etc and you're worried what your husband might think?
