HI, I'm 16. I have a crush on this guy who is 17. We live in different parts of the world. I've never had a crush and I don't know what to do. I can't stop thinking about him.

A male reader, Amore +, writes (29 July 2005):

Hi!

The first thing you have to do, is come to terms with the reality of a long-distance relationship. This may sound harsh, but it is the major issue here. There's nothing stopping you from using the internet, like: e-dating and using webcams and stuff. Crushes come and go, and i'm sure this one will too, so my best advice is, enjoy it the most you can, and if you really do want to be serious in the relationship, arrange visits to each others countries to see if you can get to know each other enough.

Good Luck X, Amore
