There is this guy that works for the same organization as I do, and i really think something could happen relationship wise with him. I asked him to go out to the bar with my friends and we had a great time. We all came bake to my apt and watched a movie. As soon as the movie was over, he left really fast without even a good night kiss. My friends (a little drunk) took my phone and started texting him messages that probably scared him off. The next morning i called and left a message explaining what happened, and he didn't respond, until i saw him while i was working a few days later. We talked, and everything was okay, then i never heard from him again. I ran into him about a month later at work (we never work the same shifts), and he said that he was going to visit me at my other job and have lunch with me. So he did, then he went to work (paramedic), and came back with his partner for dinner and they stayed there for 2 hours. Then it was my turn to work as an EMT at our volunteer organization we both work at, and he and his partner showed up there too "to hang out". This boy is confusing...any advice? Could anything happen from this?

anon2907 agony auntI guess from partner you mean work partner not relationship partner?

Sounds to me like he likes you and is shy - hence taking his buddy along as wingman.

Maybe another lunch - you've done it once, why not again. If it goes OK, then say something like 'oh, I had a really good time, would you like to have dinner sometime'.

See how it goes. The text messages from your friends have prob sown the seed that you like him, but he might not know how to take it, esp if he's shy.

Good luck!! Let us know how it goes!
