Hey there!

I'm a 13 year old male and my girlfriend is just turned 13 too! so there not much of an age differance.

She doesn't have particularly big breasts but shes wished they would grow!

It just goes to show not everyone knows what they want.

In a year years when you reach your full height and start to really want guys, your going to really enjoy yourself, boys will be easy to get!

Count your self lucky

My girlfriend is 12 as well, and she has large breasts. Trust me, from a guys perspective, you look even better with big breasts. You shouldn't be embarresed. As soon as you start dating, you'll find out that guys like me are naturally attracted to big breasts.

Good Luck,

J.W.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (18 March 2006):

I'm sixteen and have no breasts AT ALL. I would do ANYTHING for breasts so count yourself luck. Your body will grow so they will look better on you then. It's quite normal, I'm sure there are lots of other girls who feel this way. It's just your hormones raging through your body at the moment, when they calm down, everything will start to look normal again.

Perhaps, because your breasts are so large at a young age, they've just had a growth spurt, and they won't get much bigger from now until when your an adult.

If they keep growing, there's not much you can do about it so accept the way you are. Everybody has something about their body that they don't like.

Think about this: All the boys will be flocking and there's probably some flat chested people in your school who are dead jealous!!!!!

Angelicc agony aunti know off many girls hows breast are just as big. you shouldn't worry too much as most girls would be jealous of your breast size. but i believe you should speak to your gp because if your breat start to get really big you could develop back problems.

A female reader, Bev Conolly Australia +, writes (16 March 2006):

Bev Conolly agony auntPlease don't "hate" your body! It's part of who you are, and let's face it... you can't exchange it for another one!

You have to learn to accept what you've got, whether that's freckles and red hair, big feet, or a voluptous figure. (By the way, start thinking of yourself as "voluptuous" and it may change the way you regard your breasts.) For what it's worth, you'll be envied by other girls in a year or two.

As an answer to your question, Yes, you're normal, and No, there's nothing wrong with you. Your breast size is certainly generous, and unusual for your age, but you're not a freak, if that's what you're worried about. Plenty of women have 38DDs. Go and check the bra racks at K-Mart -- a shop which caters to normally-proportioned women -- and you'll see your size... and BIGGER.

Do talk to your mum about a visit to your GP, though, if you worry. You might want to go so that she can ask him/her about some tests they can do to check your hormone levels and make sure that there's nothing health-related that's causing your early development. Once you know that you're healthy and fine, it's more of a mental adjustment for you.

Unfortunately, men and boys will always stare. Men are fascinated by boobs (as a general rule) and, even if yours were a smaller size, they'd still gawp. (Sigh.) You just learn to tune it out. It's unwanted attention, like catcalls and whistles; ignore it and carry on. What's the alternative, really?

Don't feel like you have to "do" anything about having large breasts. They're yours, and although they're certainly generous, there's nothing wrong with you.

Hope this helps a little.
