She earns a very modest amount of money, but she manages to support her small family. However, today she was fired. She'll only have a job there until May. She hasn't any other professional preparation other than to work as a secretary. She isn't getting any younger either, so that slims the chances that she'll get a job soon.My boyfriend is devastated. He's 22. He's already figuring out how he could get a part time job or something. I feel really sad about all this... Obviously I can't get his mom a new job, but I wonder, how could I help him through this? I can't really relate that much, because my dad has quite a stable income, and the last time he was unemployed I was very, very young so I don't remember. How can I help?

You could ask them to move in with you ,
if you have the space and your dad's permission to keep his cost down.
You could also get a part time job if your b/f or dad allows .
just be there for him.
