writes:Ok so about a year ago I was friends with this guy. I had a bf and he had a gf but we were friends and would talk about relationship problems. I broke up with my then bf, and he was on and off with his gf. We started going out on the weekends together to clubs and drinking, and we kissed a couple of times, but that's it. He ended up working things out with his gf/bby mama so we stopped talking. A couple months later i met his brother and me and him liked eachother almost instantly. I told him everything up front. We decided to be serious (bf/gf) and things were great until his brother found out, he told his whole family that he and i slept together in the past and all these other untrue stories, so now their family doesn't like me. My bf takes my side and believes me, but he's constantly hearing about it from his family. Is this something I should give up on, or can we move past it? He and I get along great and are happy, its just this one issue seems to always come up. Any advice?
