My boyfriend looked at porn before we had sex. Should I confront him?

Question - (14 March 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 March 2011)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

The other night I was really in the mood, and thought that my boyfriend was as well (we were texting each other all week long about these new condoms we couldn't wait to try). When the time came, he said he wasn't in the mood and that he needs to relax for a bit. So I go to the bathroom and change into my pajamas, pee, wash face, lotion body, etc (I was in there for about 10-15 minutes), then go back to my room. We talk for a few minutes and then he starts to kiss and bite me and we end up having sex. In the middle of having, he ended up losing his erection, and then working his way up again. Sometimes this happens, and I didn't really care because we ended on a good note.

Fast forward to this morning. He leaves to meet a friend, and I end up going on his computer to get a movie (he wouldn't mind me going into his computer) so I could watch it and in his recent files, there was a sexy picture that he downloaded while I was in the bathroom and a sexy video that he watched. I know this from looking at the times they were opened last.

I'm really truly upset by this. My confidence has taken a huge hit and now I don't feel like having sex with him at all. He'll be home in a few hours and I don't know if I should say anything to him about this. It's killing me. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A female reader, janniepeg Canada +, writes (15 March 2011):

janniepeg agony auntSome guys look at porn to get themselves ready, meaning hard before the act. It's only a problem if that's the only thing he can depend on. There are many things you can do to make him hard. Men are visual, porn is something that jump starts the whole action and it doesn't mean he's more attracted to the girls on the computer. Losing erection during sex is common. Sometimes he delibrately stops the action to prevent from cumming too soon. If you watch porn yourself you would notice those guys do the same thing as well. I sometimes watch porn because I enjoy watching people having pleasure. No one is as good as my boyfriend and I am not looking to bring any porn stars home. Neither is my boyfriend going to bring girls on the computer home. It's true I am not a model and my boyfriend is on the big side, but we want each other and that's what matters.
