My boyfriend is like 2 different people and I don't know which one I'm getting?

A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hey. my bf of 3 years wants to move out. he says he needs space from me and he's miserable living in our home. i've been paying the rent, bills, buying the groceries, doing the cleaning and taking care of his dogs. he spent this past summer sleeping all day and playing video games at night; he does have a weekend job that he got in july, but other than that, right now he's all school all day now and then working the weekends so i don't see him as much. he complains that i don't give him space when i never see him and when i do see him, it's sporadic. he still claims he loves me and says nice things to me but sometimes it's like i'm living with two different people. i have the man i fell in love with that treated me like gold and then this new guy who can't be bothered. he gets moody and i never know what version of him i'm going to get. i'm trying to be supportive, hoping this is only temporary, but now he says he doesn't know if he's coming back. i need help!

I don't think you're getting the message here honey. His actions are saying it all, he wants out. The fact that he's said he doesn't know if he's coming back tells me that he may have met someone else and if that doesn't work out, he'll be back. Sorry but that's the way I see it.
