reader, anonymous, writes (25 August 2008): I completely understand about the self esteem thing. Every time I'm in crowds with my boyfriend, I freeze to the point of awkward embarassment. So I try to avoid situations like that, save myself the humiliation.Don't isolate yourself from his friends though. Say you're greetings, tell you're boyfriend you'll be with you're friends.Make sure you tell you're boyfriend how you feel, and hope he understands. It can't hurt, and if anything it'll help loads with communication and such. If you can't tell him this, how will you tell him anything else?
