AskEve agony auntHe's obviously said this because he knows you'd get upset, mad, jealous, give him a hard time etc. How long have these texts been going on for? It could be nothing, then again it could be more. You need to sit down with him and let him know that he's with you now. If it's really over with this ex then why is he hiding her texts. Let him know you're not stupid. Him deleting it then lying about it just makes him seem all the more guilty. Talk to him about boundaries in your relationship, where you draw the line regarding other women. Ask him to make bounderies too so it's just not all about you.

If you don't communicate in a relationship then you'll both only become more distant. Let him know that communication, trust and honesty are the cornerstones to any relationship and if your relationship doesn't have than then it will eventually crumble.
