He probably hasn't called because he just had surgery...he is probably really drugged up...give him a call...let him know you are thinking about him and check to see that he is ok...

Have you called HIM?
He's been in hospital and had surgery...would it be so hard to call him and ask how he's doing? Maybe he's waiting for you to call to check on him...maybe he thinks that you don't care?
if he's your boyfriend, why don't you just call him and ask him how he is? Make a time to go see him. If I was him and I'd been in hospital and my girlfriend wasn;t calling me to check how I was, I'd wonder if she doesn't care about me.

Take a deep breath and relax....Don't worry, it could be any number of things that have kept him from calling you. Depending on the type of surgery he had, he may be on meds that keep him loopy 24/7. Let him rest for a few weeks.

hmm... there are many possible reasons for why he's not talking to you. Is he one to keep to himself emotionally? I know many guys who become very reclusive when they are dealing with a mix of emotions/issues. One relationship I had ended because of this. He just was a very depressed guy hiding behind a smile but underneath that was hurting and didn't want to talk to anyone.Knowing if he's that type of guy is key to figuring out his behavior.
