My boyfriend has many girlfriends...am I wrong to ask about them?

I m in a relationship with a boy for about 1 n half year.He is 5 years older than me . He is simultaneously going around with 2-3 girls n about all he has told me.I have feelings for him.He has said to all his gf that he wnt marry them. He l marry his 1st gf who is abroad.I got all the information about his gfz by myself..like call details n all..n then i asked him he accepted. Now we are just friends. But we have sex often..like 2 times in a month.He gets irritated when i ask him with whom you were busy on the phone or anything else about the girl he is serious for.He is fed up of me but i dont want break-up.I am happy being just friends? is it cheap to ask about her....he says so.......help me
