My boyfriend found out his ex is pregnant, what are we supposed to do?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My boy friend and I have been dating for the past few months and neither of us in the past have been known to get attached, however, we've become extremely close the past few months. My parents hate me with him, he has stress about his everyday life, and I have mine. A few weeks ago we found out his ex is pregnant. She is a complete psychopath. I told him to help her with the situation but she won't be civil about anything. This breaks my heart, it tears me up inside every time I think about it. I want to love him but other personal situations seem like they won't let that happen. What are we supposed to do?

I agree with the previous poster; establish the paternity first before you get to stressed and concerned about this pregnancy; don't make any commitments, arrangements or offer too much assistance if the paternity is not confirmed.

Try to relax and handle this without your emotions getting the best of you.

Think carefully, be wise and stay CALM.
