My bf's parents are divorced and he doesn't attach himself to anything or anyone saying he doesn't want to get hurt... he is not open to me.. it's been 2 years we have been seeing each other... Will this affect my future with him?

katatonik agony auntIt's possible. Remember though, the two of you are still young and there's time ahead for you to change his mind. I'm not saying you should actively try to prove yourself to him. But show him through your actions that you are a trustworthy person and it's quite likely that gradually he will come to think of you in this way. If you are comfortable asking him, this might be an issue that getting a little couples counseling together would also help. Good luck =]
