 Whats the rough patch, are you continually arguing and questioning him about his love for you ? Have you maybe fallen out and then said something like you dont love me.. and he's like yes I do, and then you question it ? Maybe its just a bit of bickering and you can smooth it over. At least he tells you that he loves you. Why question it.. Thats what you want to know isnt it that he loves you ?

 dear reader. i'm not sure on this one you could take it either why1) it could mean he loves you dearly but is not "in love" with you2) he does love you but you know men they can never give you a straight answeri don't know that you should be worried about this but if it helps ask him to write down a list of things he does love about you and what he doesn't this might give you the answers your looking for.i hope the answers are what you want to hear.good luck to you keep me posted all the best xxx

 Well I would be more worried if he said he didnt love me! This sounds a bit bizarre to me. Could you be a bit more specific. Why did you ask him WHY he loves you?
