A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hi dear cupid I'm a 28 year old and I have this itch of having a child since I feel I'm not gonna get younger. I've never been married but I've had a few relationships with women, and they all seem to end in heartbreak for me after I give 100% to make them work. I have no problem meeting women since I'm not a bad looking man, but I just have a terrible streak when it comes to relationships

The Financial aspect wouldn't be a problem since I'm a electrical engineer and hold a very good stable job. I guess the loneliness, being in a city with my family far away has me thinking about having a child, and be able to do things with him, playing with him while I'm strong enough to do so.

I feel that while the good Lord has blessed with luck in other things like having a successful career, having good friends etc, etc I have yet to find that person who for once I can trust, love and cherish. Even if I don't find a woman, I guess the final plan would be to adopt a little child.

They say money can't buy happiness,it certainly hasn't bought me the love of a good woman

I am the same way. I can't wait to have a child and begin a family. There has been a lot of heartache in my last serious relationships that were out of both our control. A lot of wounds that had to heal but I'm ready to begin a new chapter in my life. Now finding a man in LA that is not running from this type of a fulfilling life is next to impossible. What's wrong with being with someone, falling in love with them because you both want to start a family?

you could always adopt or hire a surrogate (there are women who donate there eggs, like men donate sperm)

I'd say adoption, but some of my best friends are adopted. I recommend getting a boy, if you're adopting, since you're a man, and many girls would just be creeped out if you got them over the age of...7? If you don't adopt, a surrogate mother? You say you have a lot of money, so...
