I have only ever used it twice in relationships one was with him and the other was with a long term partner who i did fall in love with. I take that word very seriously and only ever use it if i know i truely mean it. My boyfriend says he loves me, but going through his comment message history on myspace, I see he has said this to many of his ex girlfriends. I just dont think it truely means as much to me as it does to him. It's driving me mad. I have even gone and bought concert tickets as a suprise birthday gift for him, but after seeing these comments I'm wondering weither I'd be better keeping them and going with friend. I feel now as though ive been taken for a ride. What does anyone think? Is he being genuine or should i leave him? Any advice is helpful. thanks

He is the one to make you feel better about your worries, talk to him about it - you say you are "really in love" with him - yet you are considering leaving him over this rediculous worry you have!?I personally would only say "I love you" to a girlfriend, but I do have a couple of girl friends who I may say "love ya" or "love me".. certainly not "I love you" though!TALK TO HIM!
