My bf talks to his ex gf once a week..I don't like it so am I over-reacting?

A female , anonymous writes:

My boyfriend talks to his ex girlfriend - who lives about 8 hours away from us - at least once a week and, on top of this, they send each other presents for Xmas/birthdays. I told him that this makes me feel very uncomfortable, yet he thinks there is nothing wrong as they are just friends. Am I being overly insecure about this?

personally i wouldnt worry about it too much. if they were good friends before they went out then its only natural for them to still be friends after they have broken up. if you find out that its any more than just talking or friendship i think you would seriously need to talk to him. you have to trust him

best of luck
