writes: I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now, we used to spend every minute of the day together and i felt that I needed space, eventually i got over that feeling and we got back to normal, over the past few months he has wanted to go out with his friends on a sat night,hes with me every other night. and ive found this weird?! Is it cos im smothering him? I really don't want to lose him but i cant get the feeling out my head that he doesn't want me anymore and its really getting me down! Am I just being stupid? As long as he splits time between you and his friends.
If you give him grief over this it will drive him away. Understand that he needs time away to hang with his friends and do guy stuff, for example,they like to be macho and sit around and play xbox games while they talk about football, relationships and so on. Im pretty sure he wants you and loves you, just understand that he need space. If you do he will usually appreciate the fact that he has a cool girlfriend who understands him. Call him up at least once to say hi and to see what he's up to, other than that let him call you, guys dont like their girlfriends to be ontop of them. Since he's out saturdays w/ his boys , you should make plans w/ your friends and have a great time. Girl be happy that he's not out everyday. Don't be so worried, everything will be ok.
