writes: Hi all, im pregnant and very happy, im about 14 weeks pregnant, now the other kid is also pregnant and she were always treated like a queen. Whell its my brother in law's girlfriend susan , she found out she is pregnant about 4weeks now. Now everything is about them, if we visit the parents place, she always watch tv or does her nails, while i have to cook for everybody and clean and wash the dishes all by my self. The other weakend we were there susan said she is not feeling well she is going to lay down so yeah guess whom had to do everything! Me im sick of treated like that. So when i told them i'm feeling light headed i wanted to heave a seat. His mother said to be pregnant is not a disease, but my feet hurts so badly and im so sad and tired and the other people is just having fun and drinking! I'm about 8 years older than susan but that doesnt make a difference. She comes into my house smokes and tells me what to do! Please help me what can i do? how can i tell them back off, im just a person also a women and im pregnant. Really im a very soft and good person but i have to hear they bought susan this and that i dont care about gifts all i want is some respect and my husband is trying his best to tell he's mother listen here why does my wife have to do everything! Is it wrong off me to tell my husband i dont want to go to his parents place becauce im just going to do all the cleaning and cooking? Please help me Sorry if im sounding harsh im just in tears where im sitting...

I think it's okay for you to determine how others will treat you, and hold your expectations to that standard. Your husband can relay that as well to his parents. You are your own person and have every right to demand to be treated well, by anyone you come in contact with. It's also okay to decide not to be around those who do not.
