A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

can anyone teach me how to fight depression?

I am so depressed right now, i dont know why..i dont understand how i feel. my ex informed me days ago that he is in trouble with the girl he left me for. i don't know..maybe they broke up.

the thing is, i am devastated again to hear this. shouldnt i be happy that they might have broken up? why is he telling me? i told him i am just around if he needs to talk but he didnt respond.

i have just broken up with him like 3 months ago and just 2 months after he left me for that girl, now he says he is depressed coz "something" happened. I don't know exactly why he needs to let me know about these things.

and now, its making me depressed, jealous..I dont wanna ask for a mind reader but can guys pls help me to figure out why he is doing this to me?

thanks in advance

Your friend agony auntNo need to be depressed or jealous as he is past history, remember he dumped you which severly affected your happiness and thrown your life in a spin. Don't chase something that isn't worth going after. Whatever happened is his problem and you should not make it yours unless you feel like making yourself suffer. Avoid his calls long enough and he'll get the message...move on
