I fell out of a fun and happy relationship earlier this year which broke up after my girlfriend went to Uni miles away, and decided that's where she had to draw the line.I do miss her though. I love how she used to giggle at my stupid jokes, and how she'd hit me when I made jokes at her expense. Not many people find me very funny, but she thought I was hysterical. It doesn't feel like girls like her come around too often. I may be wrong, but I'm not sure, because she was the only girfriend I've had.Can anyone advise me here?

I know it feels like the end of the world, but you will feel better soon. I promise X
There are hundreds of girls that are suitable for you out there, you just have to let them in :-).
I know you probably don't feel like going out looking for a new girlfriend just now, which is exactly how your meant to feel.
You need to let yourself get over this relationship before you start looking again. Your very young and have lots of time to find someone just right for you.
The reason you need to give it a while before getting a new girlfriend is because the last thing you want is to compare all girls to your last girlfriend. No two people are exactly alike and if you spend all of your time looking for an identical match, then your gonna be very disapointed.
So give yourself some time, maybe till the new year then you should feel better about starting afresh!.
good luck in everything you do.
