My cycle is also very long, i usually have my period every 6 weeks and it has been like this for the past two years. After I had my period the last time, I did have sex once and my boyfriend used a condom. I know this is not 100% effective but im not of age to get the pill yet by myself. I don't seem to be having any pregnancy symptoms. I have been feeling more tired than usual but then again, I am stressed due to school and very bad sleeping patterns. Just today my breasts feel more sensitive. I had taken a pregnancy test last week and it came out negative. I had followed all instructions and observed the time requirements so I'm very sure I did not make any mistakes. Still, I'm worried because my period has yet to come. Is it common for pregnancy tests to come out negative if all instructions were properly followed? Or is it just normal to skip a period?
