writes: I need some help i know i maybe just worried and triping but, i am engaged to the best guy ever i will be getting married in may of 2007, when i got with him i knew he was a truck driver and i accepted the fact that he will be on the road and i will not see him as often but he was a truck driver befor i meet him and i will not change his life.My biggest concern is how am i going to beable to sleep at night with out him i am so use to him being here every night and now i have to get use to not being next to him? I know that he will not cheat on me because i have all the trust in that but i dont know how to take not having him next to me at night and always wondering if he is ok...can anyone give me some advice please?

I too am in a relationship with a guy who travels. He's called up with little or no notice and sent all over the world for "indeterminate" amounts of time, most of the time, so I know how you're feeling!
When he's not there, I sleep cuddling an extra pillow on the bed. That seems to help. Do you have any pets? I let my dog sleep in the room with me, when he's gone, so that I at least have another soul breathing nearby, and that seems to help me.
You'll be alright. It doesn't take too long to adapt.
