It does seem weird but that's what a lot of people do when they watch porn - watch things that they'd never do in real life. He may watch these things to get off in that way but in real life he'd never do it or even be sexually attracted to that type of thing. Maybe you can think of something similar that you do? It's not the case for everyone but you probably don't have anything to worry about. In fact it might even be something he's embarrassing by.
